Terms of use

Off the Felt and offthefelt.poker. Effective 11 October 2026.

What this is

Off the Felt is a free app for practicing the arithmetic of poker: outs, pot odds, equity and reading the board. This website explains the same arithmetic. Both are for learning.

No gambling, no real money

There is no real money in the app, no wagering and no prizes. It is play money and practice. Nothing here is an offer or an invitation to gamble. Where you play poker for money, the laws of your country apply, and following them is up to you.

No promises about results

The arithmetic is checked, but poker decisions depend on much more than arithmetic. Nothing in the app or on this site promises that you will win, or win more. If you find a wrong question or a wrong number, please tell me at fsaint@gmail.com. I will fix it and say so.

The app and the App Store

The app is free and has no in-app purchases. Downloading it is also subject to Apple's App Store terms. The app and this site are provided as they are, without warranties, to the extent the law allows.

Privacy

How the app and this site handle data is in the privacy policy.
