Poker odds quiz: ten hands, outs and price
Ten hands. For each one, count your outs, then decide: call or fold. Every answer shows the working. Free, no sign-up, nothing saved.
- Count every card that makes your hand. A card that does two jobs is still one out.
- The price is the bet divided by the pot after your call.
- Decide by the price alone. No money you might win later.
Hand 1
How many outs?
Cards that make your hand. Count each card once.
How the answers are worked
Every hand asks the same four questions, in the same order. Is there a flush draw? A straight draw? Are your cards higher than the board? Do you hold a pair that can improve? Add up the cards, and take away any card you counted twice.
Then hold your chance to hit against the price. If he bets again on the next street, you are buying one card. If he is all in, you see both. The rule of 2 and 4 gets you close; these answers use the exact odds.
Every number here was worked out by a script and checked twice, by counting cards and by dealing every card. If one looks wrong to you, tell me.
